About me

Maite Coach Alicante

Hello! I’m Maite, Coach and international development professional

25 years of professional experience across 13 countries, 5 continents, and in 4 languages.

I have dedicated my career to working with the United Nations, NGOs, and universities, closely experiencing the challenges and pressures of international environments. My path to coaching began when I observed my colleagues’ burnout in demanding settings, acting like “superheroes,” always responding to emergencies and never having time to reflect and take care of themselves.

In the end, the strain takes its toll.

I know first-hand the challenges of global life: the strain of constant relocations, cultural adjustments, and heartbreaking farewells. As a mother of three teenagers and partner of a diplomat, I have learned to balance the extraordinary with the everyday, but it is not always evident and requires constant attention.

My mission is to help workers in the development sector reconnect with their purpose and manage the demands of an intense professional life, without losing sight of what truly matters.

For me, Coaching is a powerful tool to reconnect, inspire, and continue moving forward together. I have found in this method a way to support professionals like you in finding clarity, inspiration, and strength to advance.

Thanks to my professional and personal journey, I can help other global citizens and contribute to strengthening the human foundation of our international institutions, as imperfect as they are essential.

Together, we can transform burnout into energy, frustration into purpose, and chaos into balance.
